Last week in a moat, standing water in the Eper-Graeser Venn near Gronau. 7-8mm tall.

I see a tuft of hairs apparantly lying in the middle of the siphon, so it seems close to Aedes/Ochlerotatus

Tried to attach an image to a forum post. jpg, 32kB, 72dpi, no blanks, ... File name is correctly displayed, but when I click "Preview Thread" it just vanishes. Help!
