Hello Matzke-Hajek & theo, From this angle the hairs on the abdomen do not look long enough for vicaria. This could also be M. testacea. For that we need to see the markings on the wing. Kind regards, Ectemnius |

The thorax is strongly reddish in front of scutellum, which is atypical in testacea. The darkening in the wing is relatively strong (for a testacea-group). And if you look over the hind tibia, hairs on tergite are long and perpendicular. Don’t be misled by hairs on tergite 2-3. So, though little is certain in life, this points to vicaria, in my opinion.
