Found at Reserva Ecológica de Guapiaçu (REGUA), in Cachoeiras de Macacu municipality in state of Rio de Janeiro in southeastern Brazil on 30.XI.2019. Female Diogmites? I am pretty sure it is same species as this one IDed by Eric as Diogmites - https://diptera.i...d_id=93147 Just wanted to see if Eric thought same. What are your thoughts? |

Looking at this again, the marginal scutellar bristles appear to be present, which separates Diogmites from Blepharepium. So I agree that this is Diogmites, and probably conspecific with your other photos. |
