Hello, I have found these flies in a forest. I guess Tachina lurida, but I am unsure. What is the right species? Thank you, Marion (23th April 2020, Germany, Saxony, Chemnitz) |

Hi Marion, I think it's T. ursina. Greetings, Eric |

ano, I think it is lurida. Female have dust bands on tergites 3 & 4, but not on 5. Moreover, the vertex of male seems too broad. Theo |

Thank you very much Eric and Theo. I will store the flies as T. lurida. Checking some old pictures I found this one from 8th April 2006. Could it also be a T. lurida? Thanks and best wishes, Marion |
