Empis it is (try the key to the genera by Hackston https://www.dipte...(2015).pdf!), but the pictures show too few details. I think I saw the same species recently and now posted it here https://diptera.i...d_id=95084. Though my pictures are better they might still be insufficient, I am afraid. So our two females belong both to the Empis nigripes complex but are different species. Now I recognize a difference: the legs of your flies are brownish, mine has black ones. Well, Paul is the best! |
