The wind pattern is very typical, so you should be right! It is the brown summer morph, the spring morph is black (mesonotum, scutellum, abdomen). I'd not expected it to appear already in the middle of May. Regards, Sundew |

Yes, it is! The body colouration may depend on the season and temperature of pupal development: entirely black, dark brown with yellow scutellum or entirely orange (Morocco) Val |

Thank you both! I have a picture of spring form (if I was right, I did not ask for confirmation then) from the same site from 11 May 2017. What is strange, this season is quite cold in Slovakia, however, winter and early spring were warm. |
