Imeretinskaya Bay, Sochi/Adler, Krasnodar Territory, Russia, seashore. Size 2 to 2.5 mm. In big numbers in the shade of Verbascum and (less frequently) Glaucium flavum leaves, took off when disturbed and then sat on sand (difficult to spot) or leaves.

Looks similar to Hecameded I photographed in Japan.

Certainly Hecamde, though you can't see the most distinctive feature - its nose!

Collected specimens were identified as Hecamede albicans by Marina Krivosheina. |
