Hello  The picture from Poland. I suppose there is a sawfly from Tenthredinidae family, but I'm not sure. Moreover, maybe somebody know more detailed ID?  |

Apparently not Tenthredinidae - too many antennal joints. Having seen only this one photo, I cannot exclude Apocrita: Aculeata. |

It seems exactly like here: https://www.commanster.eu/Commanster/Insects/Bees/SpBees/Delomerista.mandibularis.html But it is only one picture in all google  However it's definitely not Tenthredinidae. Thank you for help! |

The problem with the identification is described on the commanster website itself, too: https://www.comma...aveat.html And it is never a good idea to rely on only one source - whatever you are searching for. Pimplinae and even Delomerista mandibularis could be close but even if if you go back to Schmiedeknecht's Pimpla mandibularis you will not find a final answer in this case. But anyhow we should continue to keep the eyes open. Greetings, Eric |
