Cerceris ?
BUCAILLE
Hello
It's a Cerceris but who could help me to identify it. I would suggest C.quadrifasciata but I'm not sure. (I took other pictures if necessary).
North of France
Thanks for your help

Hi Denis, I think it's C. arenaria - compare the stripes on the tergits and the hind femora.

Hi Eric the yellow stripes on the tergits and the black apex of the hind femora are suitable for C.arenaria but I thought that C.arenaria has a yellow dot on the T1 ? Am I wrong Many thanks

Hi Denis, I'm not sure, but I think the males don't:

Hi Eric
I understand that the hind femora of the C.quadrifasciata would be roughly totally black but the hind femora of C.arenaria would be yellow with a black apex, is it correct. I add below a new picture which could perhaps help to confirm definitely. Many thanks
