Hi, Here comes another fly from my Baltic trip last week: a grey animal of moderate size sitting on a house wall - according to the bent snout a conopid, though I had not expected such a broad abdomen when viewed from above. What genus could that be? Sundew Edited by Sundew on 03-11-2007 14:06 |

Aha - now my idea how a conopid should look like is restored! A bent snout thus can be found in different families. As there were many farm animals around, the stable fly was on the right place. I have not met one in Berlin yet. Thank you, Jorge. Sundew |
