(prob.) Macronychia polyodon, Sarcophagidae
Renko
Hello,

A Tachinidae found in North of France, Cassel, the 24 June 2020, at the edge of a hedgerow, near a grazed cow meadow.
Strangely, she remained motionless during the video allowing me to have multiples angles of view and allowing me to come rather close.
I'm sorry for the poor quality of the pictures but I did the film with a smartphone awkward

Black and white markings on abdomen suggest Sarcophagidae to me.
Might be Amobia signata or one of the other non-Sarcophaga species.

It looks as a weird Tachinidae, because it is a Sarc !

Something like Oebalia cylindrica.

Wait for Daniel

Thanks a lot, tristram and Theo ! Grin
When I saw her I fought this was a Sarcophagidae, but when I took a profil picture I said to myself "its head remind me of a Tachinid, maybe it is a species I never heard of! (exciting), maybe in the Tachinidae looking like Sarcophagid" Grin
First instinct is often good instinct
