It looks weird, maybe the colouration is off. Note that the apical scutellar bristles are erect, so first impression is male Meigenia. Theo |

The propleuron (the thoracic plate below the humerus) should be hairy, but this will be very difficult to photograph due to shadowing of flashes. Theo |
