Leucophenga hungarica (UK) - confirmed
djo
Is this Leucophenga hungarica? The banding looks about right, but maybe a little closer to quinquemaculata (unlikely for the UK)

In general, abdominal markings in Leucophenga are somewhat variable so this is okay for hungarica on account of the unmarked wings.

Indeed, L. hungarica. By the way, "emerging" of this species only after 1985 seems somewhat mysterious. Now there are 45 localities of this species recorded by Taxodros.uzh.ch, all collections being at most 35 years old.

Thank you all!

Presumably it invaded from somewhere less thoroughly studied?
