Hello,
this fly I found in a wet wooded valley, about the same size as a housefly.
Who can tell me which species this is ?
Dates:
Germany, Northrhine-Westphalia, D-59846 Sundern, Sorpe valley, 236 m, 22.8.-2020

The wavy golden hairs on the thorax point to Pollenia (Polleniidae, formerly a subfamily of Calliphoridae)

Tried to attach an image to a forum post. jpg, 32kB, 72dpi, no blanks, ... File name is correctly displayed, but when I click "Preview Thread" it just vanishes. Help!
