Hi, When I photographed flies in a village not far from the Baltic shore last week I found that most of the moderate-sized ones were Pollenia species. However, this one is not. As to wing venation, I suppose a muscid. Even an intensive photoflash could not bring much light into the darkness, but some pattern is seen. I hope it might be enough for genus ID. Thanks, Sundew |
