Hello,

I photographed this fly in Bazzano (AQ), Italy, on May 19th 2019. I'm not even sure of the family it belongs to. Is it possible to identify it?

Looks like it might be a Philygria species (Ephydridae), but difficult to say from just one photo.

Tried to attach an image to a forum post. jpg, 32kB, 72dpi, no blanks, ... File name is correctly displayed, but when I click "Preview Thread" it just vanishes. Help!
