Sandra, 1. Difference between Muscidae and Anthomyiidae in most cases are invisible on photo (one needs collected fly and microscop). 2. It is Anthomyiid by "jizz" (=general impression) 3. In most cases farther Anthomyiidae images ID are impossible. 4. I'd say that in your case it is possible - arista long plumose + lower squama large - Hydrophoria, I think it is - male H.cf. lancifer Nikita Nikita Vikhrev - Zool Museum of Moscow University |
