Tachinidae??
Rafael Estevez
Sized about 7/8 mm. she was first resting on dung but when approached her she flew up to an oak leaf. There she stayed for while.
Decidouos forest openning on a river bank november 11th 2007, river Sil canyon (Orense) Spain at 200 mts.
Thanks in advance.

Stephane Lebrun
Hairy eyes, ocelar bristles, 3d ant. length, all this doesn't match with Peleteria.
Linnaemyia ?
Stephane.

jorgemotalmeida
hm... peleteria really has no hairy eyes.

I agree with Stephane - Linnaemyia - from the hairy eyes and protruding mouth edge & pale basicosta, but also the longer antenna 3 and lack of Peleteria bristles also helps Smile

Correct.
And given the blonde hairs on thorax. relatively narrow parafacialia and red femora (difficult to see), I'd say this is L. vulpina.
