Hello, A Cecidomyiidae found in North of France, at Clairmarais, the 18 January 2021, on the side of a cut log Is it possible to say which subfamily/tribe this specimen belong to with these pictures ? Edited by Renko on 20-01-2021 12:08 |

A male in supertribe Cecidomyiidi. If it is associated with the log, as opposed to coincidentally resting there, it could be Xylodiplosis. |

Thanks you very much, John ! I have seen multiples Cecidomyiidae near oak log but I didn't see any females ovipositing, so I will keep it as Cecidomyiidi |
