It keys to simplex using Fonseca's RES Handbook except the face is white and the basal segment of the middle tarsus (arrowed) looks more yellow than brown. |

Compared to the figures in Faune de France, the shape of the genital lamella is a better fit to caligatus. |

It was collected 18 July 2018 from wet pasture, Caeau Pen-y-clip nature reserve near Menai Bridge, North Wales. |
