 Stomoxys calcitrans Juvenile Fly spreads wings.

Photos 23 Aug 2016. Badem, RLP, Germany. These flies were hatching in the gravel by my house & then climbing the wall to dry their wings.

It's a pity we cannot see the proboscis -I think it's a still teneral Stomoxys calcitrans. Greetings, Eric |

Here is a lateral view but it seems to be little help since the proboscis seems to still be retracted like the wings. |

That's true, but the shape of the eye as well as antenna/arista confirms Stomoxys calcitrans. Greetings, Eric |
