Term Nearctic
Explanation One of the eight terrestrial ecozones dividing the Earth's land surface.The Nearctic ecozone covers most of North America, including Greenland and the highlands of Mexico.
Not included are Southern Mexico, southern Florida, Central America, and the Caribbean islands which are are part of the Neotropic ecozone, together with South America.

Tried to attach an image to a forum post. jpg, 32kB, 72dpi, no blanks, ... File name is correctly displayed, but when I click "Preview Thread" it just vanishes. Help!
