Hi, I've found these Bibio this morning in an old deciduous forest. I firstly determined the female:
- Long tibia I - spur < ¼
- Legs dark brown
- Most veins and stigma strongly pigmented
- Hairs whitish
- Eye naked, long oval
The male (a couple of steps away) was prey to a Nigma flavescens - unfortunately only 1 image.
(EDIT: male seems to be not venosus)
What's your opinion? Thanks for any comment!
Greetings, Eric

Hi Eric,
The female is totally OK, of course !
The male, I am not sure. The hind veins are not pronounced.
Could this be leucopterus ?
