Hi, yesterday I've found my first Bibio leucopterus in the garden on a daisy.
Determined by the Verbeke-key (hopefully correct):
8-9 mm, wing-membrane heavily smoky - appear brownish to blackish;
Veins also strongly pigmented...
crossvein r-m slightly longer than basal radial vein R
2-5.

Body, legs completely black with short black hairs, hairs of abdomen dorsally whithish.
Spurs on tibia I nearly same length.
