On 26th November 2007, in Panama my friend Artour spotted this fly. Amazing fly! Panthophthalmidae family. I never saw this fly.
One day I hope to go to the Panama.
I love this fly world!! love!!

I had a few of these flies from insect dealers in French Guyana and they can be huge. Any idea what their biology is?

the biology seems similar to those wood flies. Not sure, though. I knew about this family ONLY yesterday.
