this Syrphidae was found on a leaf in a little stream,
the fly was about 8-10mm,

found in Germany, Northrhine-Westfalia, Herten, altitude 80m, 3. 7. 2021

The antennae seem to be black, so probably genus Platycheirus and not Melanostoma. In this case, this male should have modified forelegs, which is not visible. The pictures are far too small, important details cannot be seen.
