Hello,

I photographed this fly in Bazzano (AQ), Italy, on June 16th 2021. I think it is a species in the genus Mintho, but I'm not sure about the species. Maybe M. rufiventris?

Looks like a female to me (proclinate orbitals, adpressed abdomen, short pulvilli)
