Thread subject: Diptera.info :: Tachinidae: Cylindromyia gr. brassicaria ♂

Hello,

I photographed this fly on Monte Etra (AQ), Italy, 1800m a.s.l. on August 22nd 2021. I think it is a Cylindromyia, but is it possible to identify its species from these photos?

Yes, it is a male in the c. bassicaria group. Difficult to be sure which one.
