Is it fresh emerged Celyphus (Paracelyphus) hyacinthus or something more interesting, please.

This is a species of Celyphus (Hemiglobus) - easily differentiated from Celyphus (Celyphus) by the arista being hairlike (as opposed to Celyphus s.s. which has the arista broadened and flattened in the basal part - see my avatar Smile), and from Paracelyphus by the shape of scutellum (see http://www.diptera.info/forum/viewthread.php?forum_id=5&thread_id=8272). The species is not so easy because not all the characters are easily visible. It matches rather well with C.(H.) quadrimaculatus - but this species usually has tergites 5 & 6 darkened laterally (although it could be lighter if it is teneral, which it seems).
