Thread subject: Diptera.info :: Tachinidae: Parasetigena silvestris ♂

Hi, I've this fly while reviewing my Phorocera photos.
Is this the male Parasetigena silvestris?

1. 3rd antennal segment ~4 times as long as the 2nd. Basicosta black. Fore tibia without pd apical spur.

Yes, looking good. The abdominal pattern is different from other Phorocera (more like a Sarc) and of course 4 post DC is decisive. Genitalia are characteristic too, once you can see those Wink
