Hello,
this fly was suggested Empis gr. pennipes. Is it possible to get species?

Found at La Romagne (near Cholet) France the 30 05 2021 in a meadow near a pond.Size : 3,5 mm.

Empis (Coptophlebia) (nr?) albinervis. I am not sure whether albinervis can have shortly pennate fore tarsi. The abbreviated M₁₊₂ rules out the pennipes group of species of Empis (Empis).

Only the female would have pennate legs ?
Male has not !

Indeed, only females have pennate legs. Leg pennation is very rare among males of Empididae, certainly in the western Palaearctic.
