Near Ommatius (cell r1 closed; plumose arista). There are several genera in this group in Africa.

So Asilinae sp. is the best way...
Is it possible to determined some Asilidae of Benin with photo? Or take photos of Asilidae is a waste of time?

Others may be able to place it to genus. We have only one genus in the group in North America and the key in Manual of Afrotropical Diptera requires more detail than I can see.
