Thread subject: Diptera.info :: Genus Lucilia = Phaenicia ?

Question is Genus Lucilia become Phaenicia , that mean now we have to use Phaenicia sericata instead of Lucilia sericata. If yes, I need reference indicate that Please.

her in the key use Phaenicia BUT the Character fit on our Lucilia as Rognes 1991, 2002 say.

old world dipterists refer to the group as lucillia
new world dipterists refer to the group as the other, it just pays to know that both exists and go by the conventions of your countries checklist
