We've 6 Loxocerini in Europe, 3 of which can be ruled out easily, then rule out
L. aristata which has a black occiput with just a tiny white genal patch just below the eye.
Leaving the problem of differentiating between
Imantimyia albiseta (yellow/amber face + arista with distinct hairs) and
I. fulviventris (black face and hairs on arista less distinctive)
Try Paul Beuk's key (
https://www.onlin...?key_no=34) or Phil Withers key (
https://www.resea...and_specie) but resolving these two is a perennial problem and full-frontal face shots are rarely taken.
