Found on the branches of Loropetalum chinense yesterday in east China (Zhejiang province). Body length approx. 6mm. Wing venation kind of similar to Isomyia watanasaki (https://www.resea..._292148913). Could it be an Isomyia? Or is it something else in the Family Calliphoridae, say Lucilia? Thanks in advance!

Hi, the stem vein is hairy above - can it be one of the Chrysomyinae? Male Protocalliphora sp.?

Hi Eric,

Isomyia is in Rhiniindae. They have many more Rhiniinidae over int the Oriental

Thank you, Theo - I didn't recognize that the Rhiniidae's stem vein is hairy above, too. Frown
