Hello,
Small larvae (a few millimetres) found on the surface of the soil in which sweet potatoes are planted.
I suppose they are dipteran larvae?
I have put a few in rearing and so far only a few tiny psychodidae have emerged, but I don't think it is their larvae.

Any advice would be appreciated.

Thank you and have a nice day.
Michel

With such reduced headcapsule these are cyclorrhapha larvae. Don't know which family, but definitely a fly
