Hi:
This small fly was found between the grass in a patchy forest area in Monforte de Lemos, Lugo (NW Spain) in August 2007.
Any help to identify is wellcome!

Sundew is right. It is a Chloropidae. They have a very large ocellar triangle.
In this case is full black.
