Thread subject: Diptera.info :: Unknown winter Brachycera --> Suillia variegata

Hello!
I haved searched all the gallery, but in spite of it's conspicuous wing markings I did not find a match for this 5-6 mm long fly from today at our winter garden window (Ostwestfalen/Germany).

I'm a little bit confused... Do you really mean this fly, or the presumed
Suillia variegata in my other thread??? I had taken into account that this black fly may be a (to me) unknown Heleomyzid. But also a

Very interesting, such a dark one...! Is it a different sex (perhaps a male), or another morph?

Michael Jackson and Madonna also may look different, but they belong to the same species. Unfortunately, I do not remeber at the moment, to which one, but certainly not a helomyzid one...
