Mechernich-Satzvey (Germany), 10 May 2022, near compost heap in our garden, very agile, length about 1,5 cm. Is Xylota segnis correct? Thank you very much for your comments.

Hi Eric,
it's time to say thank you once again for your support. In the case of Xylota segnis it seems that an obvious criterion to tell male and female apart is again the distance between the eyes: male -> holoptic; female -> dichoptic (as illustrated, for example, by the pictures in the gallery).
