Hi,
Once again I tried the Tachinid interactive key
http://www.tachin...chweb.aspx (a great tool indeed!) to identify a fly, seen on 31st July in a wood in southwestern Germany. This time I arrived at
Nemoraea, and found
N. pellucida being the only European species. If my ID is correct, it must be a female according to colour.
Here are some pics.

Given that
Nemoraea lives in that wood, this might be the male, seen about 250 m away from the female’s spot on 7th August.
I would greatly appreciate any comments on my flies!
Many thanks, Sundew
