Dear Dipterists,

Via a colleague I obtained some interesting material from Bonaire. Amongst them a number of flies swept from seaweed on 24.X.2022. A male and female are Tethina sp. (Canacidae) as expected. But there are a number of specimens which look and key (with manual of Manual of Central America Diptera) as Drosophilidae. Is that correct?

Kind regards,
Elias
