Hello,
I have some asilids in stock and do not feel experienced enough to categorize them myself. It may even happen that I unwittingly post the same species twice. It is a difficult group...
Here ist the first specimen, unfortunately sitting on a suboptimal background. A genus name would be fine!
Location is the Baltic Island of Usedom in August.

In another locality I photographed a sunbathing male that day. I suppose the species is the same, so I show the pics in the same thread. Am I right?

first specimen: female Tolmerus sp.
second specimen: male Tolmerus atricapillus

Do you have the exact day and the exact locality for me resp. my atlas on www.asilidae.de?
