Hello! This was found by János Barna in Hungary, 2021-03-28. I see that eyes are clearly separated, there’s a big distance between the two eyes. I have seen, that there are two really similar species: Panzeria puparum and Bothria frontosa. I have seen, that in puparum, eyes aren’t really separated, there’re almost touching, or touching. But in Bothria the eyes are separated, as in these pictures. About this, I think that this is a Bothia frontosa. Is this a good feature to distinguish them? Or is there anithyng else what we can use? For me these species are really similar.

Your analysis is nearly perfect, however, you forgot about females.
Bothria and Panzeria puparum are totally not related but look very similar in the field and they both fly in april.
In Bothria, the third antennal segment is very long, in Panzeria short. Moreover, the short broad tarsal segments well shown in your pics are a clue.

So, female Panzeria puparum it is.

Nope. Vertex is always (very) broad in Bothria.
