date: 15 April 2023; location: in Hamburg, Germany; at the border of a park on leaves of Lamium galeobdolon ssp. argentatum; perhaps a Anthomyiidae species? What genus?
Thank you for any ID comments!
Best regards, Volker

Hello Volker,

yes, an Anthomyiidae female. But what do you mean with "what species?" ("was Art?"Wink. Should better read "which species?" ("welche Art?"Wink.

Anthomyiidae, especially the females are hard to identify to species from photos. Maybe the experts can tell the genus.

Thanks a lot, Juergen, for confirmation of the family (which was suggested by ObsID) and clarifying the gender of this fly.
Sorry for my bad English (needs some improvement).
Best regards,
Volker
