Could this be Cylindromyia interrupta ?
Photo taken in a quarry exposed south in Belgium.

NO.
Any indication of size ?
Looks like brassicaria or possibly auriceps, in any case a male.

Sorry I don't remember the size.
Could you tell me what features you are looking here for not interrupta but rather brassicaria or auriceps ?

The pattern of dusting on the thorax doesn't fit interrupta.
Search forum for interrupta and you'll see what I mean.

Circumstantial evidence: no discal setae, very unusual in interrupta. And the third antennal segment seems too short.
Official features are invisible in these pics.

I've read the post about interrupta, and compared the pictures. I suppose you mean that interrupta hasn't so much dusting on the dorsal face of the thorax than on my picture?
Does auriceps have sometimes no central black strip on the abdomen ?

You are right on the interrupta. My formulation would be: the central dark vittae on thorax are much broader.
Auriceps can be quite variable, but I agree, it usually has a black vitta on abdomen. That's why my first vote is on brassicaria.
