Hi,

This black shiny hoverfly sat on a leaf close to the ground.

My (wild) guess is that it could be a male of Pipiza/Pipizella sp.. Can that be confirmed or excluded from the attached image and/or is a narrower determination possible ?

Germany, Southern Bavaria, Munich (-West), 08.05.2023, app. 6-8 mm
