Hello,

Could this be Myopa buccata or a similar species?

Kind regards,
Uta

Hello. This is a Myopa buccata. The cross vein in the base of cell R is whitish. In testacea there has to be a really big and conspicious black spot there. And Myopa testacea has a different coloration. So, obviously buccata.
