Thread subject: Diptera.info :: Psilota sp. ?

Ukraine, Rivne region, on May 17.
Am I correct in thinking that the photo shows Psilota sp. ? Is it possible to determine the species ?

Wow, I have never seen any belonging to that genus myself, but your animal certainly seems to fit well with Falks phots of P. atracina from Britain, https://www.flickr.com/photos/63075200@N07/albums/72157629238038404/with/6843299798/

I was lucky enough to see them a second time. Last year, I saw a female that was probably looking for a nesting place in a pine stump:

It looks like it could be P. atracina, but couldn't it be Psilota atra?
