Hello,
I find this fly on may at 1600m on the Gordolasque valley
She was dead and catch on a larix leaf tree.

This is the fungus Entomophthora muscae on Scathophaga stercoraria. It is also often found on Melanostoma mellinum but a quick search on google also yielded Delia radicum, Botanophila fugax and Platycheirus peltatus. Most likely there are more.

Yup, those wide open wings are always a good clue. I took many photos of infected insects this year. One thistle plant had about 20 dead Scathophagae in various degrees of infection.
