Thread subject: Diptera.info :: What family of fly?

I saw this fly in Holland, at the bank of the river Meuse, early June last year. It's sitting at Buttercup, so it's rather small - well, at least not BIG; let's say somewhere between 5 and 7 mm.

I hope there's enough to go on for a family guess - or better!

Flower rich riverbank, close by oak forest on river dunes.

I'd say a female Fannia. Frons is narrow -> F. fuscula ?

I'm sorry for delay, Cor, - damn influenza and damn non-tropical climat Grin
Fannia fuscula is a common species of first half of summer, but I started to learn Fanniidae only last summer and started with males. In august, when I males became rare I moved my attantion to females, but too late for F.fuscula females...
Today I examined females of F.fuscula in Museum.
Nothing to add to Stephane's ID...
